Here's My Donation

The International Threatened Species Foundation, Inc., d.b.a. FaunaLink, is a registered 501(c)(3) Florida Corporation. FaunaLink is in desperate need of financial assistance.

FaunaLink was founded in 1994 to help in the conservation, propagation, research and public education of wildlife, specializing in parrots. We have more than 970 parrots in our care. We provide housing and care for physically disabled birds as well as ex-pet birds which the owners wish to place in either a breeding situation or in retirement. In addition, FaunaLink maintains a viable captive held group of rare and endangered parrots for propagation and potential reintroduction to their natural habitats.

Until recently, FaunaLink was financially stable as we were receiving funds to cover cost of maintaining birds and other wildlife placed with us by state and federal agencies. However, over the past five years, agencies have cut our funding drastically. Budget cuts, the financial drain to help victims of natural disasters, and people’s loss of income due to these disasters, have all taken their toll on our flow of income. Everyone is looking to the public for help.

FaunaLink is in dire need of immediate financial assistance. FaunaLink wishes to expand our community outreach educational programs. Without funds to alleviate the financial burdens we are now facing, we are unable to achieve these goals.

Please help us. Become a parrot sponsor today. Become a member of FaunaLink’s Feather Support Groups. A donation of $25 a month will feed a pair of parrots for a month.
