The parrots at FaunaLink depend on your generous financial support. FaunaLink is always in need of money to purchase food, produce, aviary materials, and maintenance equipment. We need money to pay for dedicated and knowledgeable staff to care for the birds, wildlife, and housing environments adequately. FaunaLink needs two to three part-time paid helpers as we cannot depend on a steady flow of volunteer workers. Our directors are not paid but freely offer their expertise to the management of the business aspects of the corporation.

We would like to reach out to school children to educate them about aviculture.  If we don't get a new generation of aviculturists to continue to assist with the propagation of exotic birds in the United States, then a lot of the captive raised species will die out here in the states. We need many aviculturists to maintain a viable genetic pool of species in order to keep the populations productive.  As human populations grow, lands are developed, forests are destroyed for farm lands and industries, our exotic birds and other animals will die out in their natural habitats. Having a diversified group of captive raised birds here in the U.S. and throughout the world, will help us to repopulate species in their native countries when the technology and the desire is there to make it happen. Do we want to be know as the generation of individuals who turned a blind eye on the plight of nature's animals. We must strive to continue to educate developing nations about their natural resources and how they can work hand-in-hand with nature to conserve and preserve their animal and plant species.  FaunaLink does not have the  money to finance the cost of developing and printing educational program materials to present to school age children. We need to plant the seed of knowledge while they are young so that a few will become professional aviculturists. We are looking for sponsors for this educational project.

FaunaLink is in need of land and buildings so they can have a permanent location. We have been renting land space since 1997. It is time to develop a fund toward the purchase of designated land. So, yes, we need a sponsor, a land grant, or donated funds to make this happen.

YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! Please send us a donation. Help sponsor the care of a bird or a group of birds. We appreciate each donation. A pledge to send monthly or yearly donations is needed even more.

On the following pages are the names of the individuals and companies who have given their financial support. Some have donated materials, feed and supplies to help us care for the parrots. We appreciate each person and company that has helped us.
